Custom shouldn't mean weeks of waiting.
Our experience with kippahs started in Israel, working closely with the traditional side of the business. It's a craft with real history — but we kept running into the same problem. Custom orders, especially anything with real detail, could take weeks to produce.
For a family with a Bar Mitzvah or a wedding already on the calendar, that is not always a workable timeline. An event date does not move. We started looking for a better way to give people something personal without asking them to plan months in advance.
Something personal should feel exciting—not like managing a manufacturing project.
A different approach
More color. More detail. More freedom.
We wanted to move beyond the limits of traditional customization—fewer color restrictions, finer details, and more room to create something truly personal. That is what led us to experiment with DTF printing.
It opened a wider design range without asking customers to simplify what they had in mind.

Today, Kippush includes ready designs you can personalize, custom kippahs made from your own artwork, blank satin kippahs, and white chiffon shawls that can carry a coordinating design.
Kippah choices include Classic white and lined styles in white, navy, or black. Lined custom styles can place artwork outside, inside, or on both sides. We keep current options and pricing on the product pages, so this story can stay focused on why the work matters.
Matching kippah and white chiffon shawl designs can bring one visual idea across a celebration. Order minimums are 10 kippahs or 1 shawl.

Keeping the customization close changes the experience.
Design preparation, DTF printing, application, finishing, and final review happen at our workshop in Laval, Quebec. We can prepare a mockup, make adjustments if something needs to change, and stay close to the final result.
You see a proof before production, and nothing goes to print until you approve it.
