Buying Kippot in Bulk: Blank or Personalized?

Blank navy lined satin kippah from the Kippush catalog

When ordering kippot for a wedding, synagogue, school or community event, start with how they will be used. An unprinted kippah may suit an ongoing supply for visitors. A name, date or organization logo may be more useful when the order belongs to a particular occasion or group.

Kippush offers three routes: blanks, personalized Ready Designs and custom artwork. Comparing them on the same kippah style and quantity helps you see what you are choosing and what still needs approval.

Choose blanks for an unprinted result

Blank kippahs are sold plain, without a design or personalization. There is no design proof to approve. This can suit an organization that wants an unbranded supply or an event where printed details are unnecessary.

Choose the actual style you want rather than treating all blank kippot as interchangeable. For example, Blank White Satin is an unlined option, while lined styles are listed separately. Review the current product description and available colours before ordering.

Skipping artwork approval does not establish a delivery date. Check availability and delivery arrangements for the selected order rather than assuming blanks will arrive immediately.

Choose a Ready Design for a defined starting point

A Ready Design begins with an existing Kippush composition. You add the requested details, such as names and a date, and approve a digital proof before production.

This route is useful when you like the available design and do not need to build a new visual concept. For a celebration, browse the relevant collection, such as wedding kippot. Read that product’s options carefully: available styles and print placements can differ between designs.

Choose custom for your own artwork or idea

Custom kippot let you start with your logo, monogram, artwork, wording or a reference. A finished design is not required to begin the conversation.

For an organization, confirm that you are using the approved logo and have permission to reproduce it. For a shared order, choose one person to collect feedback and approve the final proof. That reduces the risk of different reviewers approving different versions.

Understand the minimum and quantity tiers

Current kippah listings have a minimum of 10 per design and cart line. Blank kippahs have a minimum of 10 per cart line. The displayed quantity bands are 10–29, 30–59, 60–99 and 100 or more.

A larger overall event order does not automatically mean every item qualifies for the same tier. For example, two separate 20-piece designs should not be treated as one 40-piece design when planning your budget. Confirm how the selected lines are priced in the cart.

Compare the same style, quantity and print placement. A blank unlined kippah and a personalized lined kippah are different products, so their prices do not isolate the cost of personalization. Both-side printing can also add a charge where supported. Use the current product and cart prices rather than a saved screenshot or an old estimate.

Make a short group-order brief

Before placing the order, record the quantity for each product and design, the printed wording, the chosen sides and the person approving the proof. Include the event date, delivery destination or pickup preference, and whether different groups need separately identified designs.

Kippush is based in Laval, Quebec, with local pickup and shipping across Canada and the USA. Personalized production normally takes 1–3 business days after digital proof approval; shipping takes additional time. For scheduling detail, read our custom ordering timeline.
